A post all the way from New Zealand! I’ve waited some time to publish this post- Tamari* was away for a long trip abroad, and after she came back I managed to send her the card just before my own journey…
This card was made for Tamar from the lovely blog Tamari*s Place. I won her blog candy recently, and enjoyed her crafty on-line generosity and friendship. Coming back from India, I spent some time thinking about Karma – spreading good deeds and good vibes, and eventually receiving the same. Since Tamar was so very kind and open-hearted with me, I have decided to reciprecate and express my gratitude.
The card is quite thick, being the first time I’ve tried this pop-up technique. Perhaps in the future I’ll find a way to refine it… The large flower bouquet spreads like a fan when you open the card, in a rich 3 dimensional arrangement. At the foot of the bouquet there’s a tiny envelope (made from a template I got in the blog-candy bundle!), with some warm words to Tamar.
I hope it made her happy!
